Mr. Hudson studied at Interlochen Arts School, the Manhattan School of Music and hold a BA West Virgina State University. In addition to studying at these instituitions he has studied with John Riley, Kenny Washington, Marvin "Smitty" Smith, and others. As a player Chris performs on a regular basis. Some of the people Chris has plated with include Bob Thompson, Vince Lewis, Frank Gambale, Ted shumate, and others. He teaches his students to count and interpret music the way professionals approach the subject. Areas of study may include marching percussion, orchestral percussion, big band, Latin, blues, jazz, Brazilian, rock, and country. He assess the student's level and prepares a study plan that is best for reaching their goals in drumming, His goal is to enrich his student's life through the mastery of their instrument.
