This vintage Mason & Hamlin Grand Piano was manufactured circa 1915. Mason & Hamlin pianos are crafted in the U.S., and while not as well known as Steinway, they have earned the reputation of being top quality instruments. Though now over a century old, this piano's owner considered it worthy of restoration in 1982. It was refinished with the original logo preserved, and given new strings and new felts for the hammers. There is a bit of fading on the treble side of the cabinet due to exposure to sunlight, but its overall condition is very good. The keys are ivory and it has a light touch and a beautiful singing tone.
